We’re thrilled to share some exciting news, Gourmet Coffee Bar & Kitchen is expanding, with two brand new coffee bar locations opening soon across the Liverpool City Region.
Our first new coffee bar will be opening at James Street Station, Liverpool, with doors set to open at the end of April following a four-week shop fit. This location is particularly special, not just for its central role in the city, but for the history that has been uncovered during recent improvements.
As part of the ongoing £40 million upgrade works to the Mersey rail loop line, workmen re-tiling the station floors and surrounding corridors uncovered original advertising posters, some dating back more than 50 years. These glimpses into the past are a reminder of the station’s rich heritage, and we’re proud to be bringing a fresh, modern coffee experience into such a historic setting.
Our second location will be opening at Southport Station, another site undergoing significant transformation. With major investment across the Liverpool City Region’s transport network, including potential integration into the Bee Network, Southport is set to become an even more connected and vibrant hub for commuters and visitors alike.
We’re delighted to be part of this journey, creating welcoming spaces where people can pause, recharge and enjoy great coffee and food as part of their daily routine.
